Meet Dr. Francisco M. Colón
Dr. Francisco Colón was born and raised in Puerto Rico, where family and care were woven into everyday life. After earning his degree in finance and accounting from Villanova University, he began his career as an accounting associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers. The work came naturally, but the fit didn’t. He was a caregiver at heart.
Around the same time, his brother had enrolled in chiropractic school, and their mother was working as a chiropractic assistant under Dr. Sebastián Bonnín, a mentor to this day. Chiropractic had been part of their family’s health approach since childhood. Dr. Francisco took stock of it all, trusted his instincts, and made the leap. He left accounting behind and enrolled at Life University in Atlanta, Georgia.

Natural Health, Beyond Borders
At Life University, Dr. Francisco was selected to join a student delegation that traveled to the Sichuan province of China to practice chiropractic within a hospital system. The experience confirmed something he carries into every patient interaction: human connection through care transcends language and culture. As a bilingual provider in South Florida, that lesson plays out in practice every day.
After graduating in 2010, he co-founded Midtown Clinic of Chiropractic alongside his brother, Dr. Sebastián Colón, growing it into a multi-location family of clinics.
Raising the Standard of Care
Dr. Francisco’s focus has shifted over the years from his own patient outcomes to the team he has built and the standard of care they uphold together. He obsesses over training, culture, and team development, knowing that his ability to help patients is exponential through the doctors he mentors.
Outside the Office
Outside the office, Dr. Francisco stays active through CrossFit, surfing, golf, and anything else that moves the body. Most of all, he loves traveling and spending time with his wife and daughter.
